South London Women Artists
Sisterhood’ is a major exhibition which marks the 18th anniversary of South London Women Artists and celebrates International Women’s Day for the entire month of March. It features the rich and diverse work of 76 local women artists who come together in the spirit of collective endeavour.
South London Women Artists (SLWA) was created in 2008 as a non-profit association to support and showcase local artists. The group has grown over the years and embraces all kinds of practice, genres and mediums.
The ‘Sisterhood’ exhibition brings together a body of work including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, textiles, printmaking and ceramics. It reflects the scope of artistic enquiry and the themes our artists explore.
