DESCRIPTION:I am delighted to announce that I have 2 etching prints on the wall of this years Derby Print open. \nThe Derby Print Open is an exhibition open to all showcasing contemporary printmaking from artists based in the United Kingdom. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Derby Print Open was created in 2018\, by Green Door Printmaking Studio\, with a simple ideology; to promote printmaking and printmakers around the UK. \nOver time\, the DPO has developed\, showcasing artists from all over the UK\, partnering with local businesses to add to the cultural impact of the arts within Derbyshire. \n\nThe exhibition takes place throughout June.

DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThe Royal Society Of Miniature Painters\, Sculptors & Gravers was founded in 1896 by Alyn Williams. Alyn was the first President – a position he occupied until 1898\, and again from 1908 until 1941. \nThe Society’s Inaugural Exhibition – held in 1896 in the Modern Gallery – was the first to be devoted exclusively to contemporary Miniatures and was an immediate success. \nKing Edward VII granted the Royal Charter in 1905. In 1926 The RMS extended its welcome to other forms of Miniature Art.
